Live In Care

Personalised to your specific needs

Live the life you want

Live-in care is our specialised care service for people who need care and support with day-to-day life, but also want to live as independently as possible.

Our compassionate carers can help with

  • Personal care
  • Shopping, housekeeping and cooking
  • Meeting dietary and nutritional needs
  • Companionship and emotional support - many carers become more like friends
  • Daily activities and accessing local support
  • Using mobility aids
  • Administering medication
  • Attending doctor, dental or other appointments
  • Help with household bills and general admin
  • Help with pet care, dog walking and feeding

A popular alternative to living in a residential care home, our live-in care service enables you or your loved one to receive tailored, professional support 24-hours-a-day, at home.

  • Living life your way

There are no set routines or timetables, only those you or your friend or relative decide upon. It’s living life your way in your own home, with the peace of mind and security that comes from having extra, all-important professional support on tap.

  • Avoiding the disruption and upheaval of moving into residential care

Having specialist care provided to you within the comfort of your home, the home you’ve seen your children grow up in and your grandchildren and children visit, avoids the disruption and upheaval of moving into residential care. It means you can continue living in your community, with friends and family visiting as they normally would, pets staying with you, and all your home comforts around you. It’s also about having someone there, who might just become a friend, to support your physical and emotional needs.
Live-in care can even become pivotal in helping with mental wellbeing, as the extra support and listening ear can alleviate depression, anxiety and loneliness and other symptoms related to living with a physical disability.

We’ll take time to find you or your friend or relative the perfect carer

We’ll work with you or your loved one to carefully match our care assistant in terms of experience, training and qualifications, as well as personality, emotional needs, interests and hobbies. If you or your family member is a football fan or loves knitting, for example, we’ll try to match a carer with the same interests, wherever possible.

We’ll also be guided by you or your loved one in terms of the daily schedule, so if the person receiving live-in care wants to get washed and dressed at a certain time, we’ll work our plan around making that happen.

All our care assistants are highly trained thanks to our award-winning programme.

The highest level of care

You’ll always be in safe hands - our services care for over 14,000 clients.

You or your loved one will be allocated two personal live-in care assistants, to allow each one to have time off. All our carers are monitored and we will regularly review our care plan with you and/or your family to ensure we are always giving the highest level of care. Should the person receiving live-in care feel they are not completely compatible with their allocated live-in carer they are entitled to ask for a change. We go above and beyond to ensure our clients are happy with our service.
